I would like to express my sincere thanks to the officers and committee for giving me this opportunity.
Running the show alongside the hound show was a challenge I am sure but made for a fantastic day. Superb rings made judging a joy.
Warm and friendly, quite like the old days, many congratulations your hard work certainly paid off.
Exhibits were all in excellent condition, temperaments, as expected, were fantastic.
I found quite a variety in types and the introduction of overseas lines is becoming more apparent, size was very varied, particularly in the males.
Coats have improved on a grand scale, as have the rear construction; all in all I think the wires are in good shape.
Minor Puppy Dog (1 Entry)
1st: BATES &
MAES-JONES Derochaise Versace
7 months
quality puppy, excellent coat, good head, eye & very good quarters. Shoulders
well angulated, good upper arm. Neat underline, and strong in top line for one
so young. Moved with confidence and drive.
Puppy Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: MOORE & DOWNES Megline Aramis (Imp)
Quality youngster, excellent head, correct balance super eye and expression, strong neck flowing into well-constructed shoulders. Correct in top line with good underline. Liked his well angulated rear with short strong parallel hocks. He is well off for bone with neat compact feet. He showed good reach and drive, confident and mature. Coat texture was excellent. Should do very well. BP.
2nd: VINE Cishelvine Caught Out
Close up to
one, Masculine well-proportioned head with a keen eye and expression. Neck and
front assembly good, top line and tail set correct. Plenty of strength in bone
with well-padded feet. Moved out well both ways. Another with good prospects.
3rd: ARTHURS Hototo's Bark At The Moon
Junior Dog (3 Entries)
1st: SHAW Tendrow Moondance
Easy winner here. Cobbier type, good coat & bone. Shoulder & upper arm well placed good angulation and best top line in this class. Nicely balanced in action. Well shown.
2nd: MAXWELL Bardrestan Quantum Leap
Immature at present, not the best top line on the move. Needs time to come together and fill out in front and rear. Angulation and shape is there and will easily improve as he grows up.
3rd: VIG Q-rrens-dax Enzo-topazo
Post Graduate Dog (2 Entries)
1st: HAZEL Romanchi Nooksack at Vraibleu
Two quite different types. Winner was better in head and topline, good coat, reasonable hindquarters. Steady on the move keeping a better outline.
2nd: VINE Derochaise Justified for Cishelvine
Not as strong
in head or overall balance as one, good shoulder and front assembly, moved out
well with good ground coverage, a more workman like boy.
Limit Dog (5 Entries)
A very strong class, mixture of types, all with quality and style. Truly hard to separate these gentlemen, I am sure they will change places on many occasions.
1st: PASKINS Tendrow Replays the Red Guy At Kindeace
I have long admired this chap, so balanced, good head, wonderful expression, good neck flowing into good shoulder and front assembly. Plenty of ribbing reaching well back, low to ground with neat underline. Well angulated hindquarters, actually has a rump! Covers the ground with ease. A Neat, well made, not over exaggerated male. Happy to award the RCC, close up for top honours.
2nd: WHARTON & PUGHE Derochaise Black Tarquin
Different smaller but stylish type, good quality with lots to like. Shapely well chiselled head, good length of neck, again well made shoulders, neat top and underline. Muscular hindquarters, strong easy movement. In Excellent coat.
3rd: VINE & BAXTER Cishelvine Red Admiral

WOW! What a pleasure to have this many quality, stylish and sound dogs in one class. Truly spoilt for choice and I felt it an honour to get my hands on them. Quite a variety in type but all with great things to pass on, congratulations to their breeders.
1st: PHILLIPS Ch Wiretap Here I Am (Imp)
I truly struggle to find fault with this boy, very much my type. Excellent coat, Beautiful masculine head, eye and expression. Good length of neck excels in front assembly. Good length of back and ribbing, and what a lovely bottom he has, powerful, well angulated and shows the strength in drive. Moves with ease and presence. Has passed his many qualities on, which surely makes him the whole package. Did everything right on the day to take CC and BOB.
2nd: MCCALMONT Ch Silvae Farrago
Quite different type to winner but has just as many attributes. Hair splitting here as both top class. A Handsome boy that fills the eye, strong masculine head, strong neck, lovely lay of shoulder , good front tight elbows, strong top line and outline. Preferred the hindquarters of winner. Great carriage and presence on the move, excellent coat, shown and presented to perfection.
3rd: PHILLIPS Ch Tendrow Replayed in Blue

Puppy Bitch (3 Entries)
1st: WHARTON Greyhayne Black Velvet
Quality girl with lots of promise particularly liked her shoulder and rear angulation, sweet head, good length of neck and firm topline. Plenty of ribbing. She is balanced all through and moves really well with reach and drive.
2nd: BINKS Cishelvine Just This Once
Similar
remarks to winner, good length, front and angulation, lacks strength in top line
at present, will improve with maturity.
Junior Bitch (7 Entries)
My goodness, how heart-warming to find such an abundance of quality in such young stock, very exciting and very encouraging. As with the males, quite a mixture of types, but all with qualities required for the future of the breed.
1st: PHILLIPS Tendrow Dancing on a Dream at Clipper down
Hard to fault, This Lady stole my heart and the show, she is still quite a headstrong baby but is so well made and such a lovely type. Sweetest of heads, good neck, very well made shoulders and front assembly. Excellent ribbing, good upper arm, tidy underline. Lovely hind quarters, well angulated but not exaggerated. Good coat. Tight well shaped feet and she can really cover the ground. In the challenge she settled down and pulled out the stops to take her first CC.
2nd: PHILLIPS Tendrow A Page in Time
Quality
exhibit. Feminine well balanced head with strength in jaw. Correct in eye with a
gentle expression. Reachy neck flowing into a well laid shoulder. Good in fore
chest with tight elbows. Has good ribs are carried well back. Level in top line
leading to well angulated rear. Moved out soundly and held a good profile going
around. Coat was presented in excellent condition. Should do well.
3rd: SEXTON Molloney Ona Top
Post Graduate Bitch (5 Entries)
1st: GIBSON Allfreys Rosabaya
Head is feminine and well balanced, lovely eye and expression, correct in body outline with good ribbing. Well angulated front and rear with short parallel hocks. Moved out soundly both ways and was well presented in excellent coat.
2nd: BUBB Rocinda Dora For Wyeknot
Another with good head, neck front and rear assembly. Good ribbing and underline. A little softer in coat than winner and not the strength in drive, but sound and balanced all through.
3rd: HASTINGS Lesandnic Sleepytime ShCM
Limit Bitch (4 Entries)
Not the strength in numbers I would expect at this level, never the less, some quality girls here.
1st: WHARTON Greyhayne Lotty Merry
Again, close decision between these two. Good size, balanced, well angulated. Plenty of front and ribbing. Good topline and moving with drive and balance. Winner has the edge on hind angulation and finish.
2nd: GIBSON Allfreys Sternchen Alrisha
Similar make up and type to winner, better neck and head carriage but just preffered the hind angulation and over all finish of winner.
3rd: VINE Gravetye Kiss Me Kate Cishelvine
Open Bitch (8 Entries)
As with the boys, a really top of the range selection here, mixture of types which ran throughout the classes, no bad thing, and it will result in them changing places on other occasions.
1st: MCCALMONT Ch Silvae Solo
Put down to perfection, this bitch is in fine form. Up to size but perfectly balanced. Quality exhibit throughout, strong yet feminine head with excellent eye and expression. Reachy neck, well laid shoulders with a well-developed fore chest. Top line and tail set correct; she is well developed in the rear with a well angulated stifle with short parallel hocks. Good bone with super feet. Her movement is a joy to watch with free flowing reaching strides holding her outline at all times. Presentation was first class. No disgrace taking RCC behind the young and precocious junior.
2nd: COVERLEY Aventine Dawn Patrol
Another oozing quality, very sound throughout, excels in front construction good angulation and easy movement. Easy on the hands and eye, not a lot to fault. With a little more push and presence will come out on top, needs to get herself noticed.
