Class 2443 VD/B NO ENTRIES
Thank you to the Bath Committee for the invite and to the two sets of stewards. I was quite conscious that the dogs might have been entered at all the shows available and therefore tried to move on swiftly through the entry. I found many exhibits lacking in muscle and this did affect some decisions. I was trying to find the ideal balance between ribbing and loin and height to length whilst maintaining type and looking for a dog that could move. Teeth were particularly concerning in the Longs.
PD (5) 1 Patton's Lesandnic Ludovic. Not my winner at first glance but could not deny his correct proportions, good ground clearance and sound movement. RBD and BPIB, shortlisted in Puppy Group and looked fabulous in the big ring. 2 McCarthy-Booth & McCarthy's Ambiesque Apollo Von Jarhiba. Lovely mover in profile but preferred length of first. 3 Norman's Silvae Klansman.
JD (3) 1 Parsons' Cloudside Picture Perfect At Shukriya. Well balanced dog, moved well up and back and in profile. 2 Foglia's Kentixen Abies Grandis. Has potential and moves well in profile. Needs to muscle up to firm topline and tighten up coming and going. 3 Gwyer's Ludlow Lapis Lazuli.
LD (3, 1) 1 Langridge's Tendrow Elberta. Really impressed with this dog, the type I was looking for.  Well ribbed back and ideal height to length. Sound on the move and held outline whilst moving out well in profile. BD and BOB, would have liked to have seen him in the Group. 2 Paskins' Tendrow Replays The Red Guy At Kindeace. Of good type and no exaggerations, couldn't quite match one on the move.
OD (4, 2) 1 Seath's Ch Zlowfox Av Larhjelm At Sunsong (Imp Nor). Very smart dog, excellent length to height. Moved well up and down. 2 Rowe & Rowe's Boloria's Cadbury Surprise. Close decision, just preferred topline of one. Moved out well.
PB (3) 1 Rowe & Rowe's Boloria's Trick Or Treat. Very promising puppy, together on the move BPB. 2 Patton's Lesandnic Lilly The Pink. Close up to first, just preferred profile movement of first. 3 Gray's Boloria's Touch Of Class.
JB (1) 1 Paskins' Kindeace Penny Lane. Like the shape of this bitch, needs more muscle to finish.
PGB (1) 1 Rowe & Rowe's Boloria's Tiger Lily. An unexaggerated girl of nice length. Moved well up and down and in profile.
LB (1) 1 Phillips' Tendrow Dancing On A Dream At Clipperdown. Good for shape and height to length ratio. Moved well in all directions, especially good in profile. BB.
OB (1) 1 Rowe & Rowe's Ch Boloria's Naught But Nice. Close decision for BB. The shape and movement I like. Could be a little firmer in underline. RBB.
