I would like to thank the committee of the Great Joint for inviting me to judge at this prestigious ch show, and to the exhibitors who gave me such an incredible entry. Also thank you to my very able steward.

I look for a balanced hound, sound fore and aft with a good head. Some were a bit short in muzzle some had staring eyes.

Temperaments and bites were good. Nearly all coats were good and harsh. Elbows have improved but still need a little more work on them

Some hounds found it hard to grip on the slippery floor and I took this into consideration when judging

Unfortunately, two hounds were dirty and another had fleas. Not acceptable.

Minor puppy Dog (3e)

Wharton's Greyhayne Hooray Henry. Same sire as my DCC winner! BP and RCC

Nearly 7-month-old well grown boy. I liked everything about him, masculine head with a good shaped muzzle, strong well boned limbs, plenty of length, well placed shoulders and hence a good fore chest. Stern well set on and held well. Correct coat. Moved soundly for one so young. Well deserved his RCC

Adams' Wyldetarn Shoot from the Hip

Another nice puppy enjoying himself! Moved with drive on strong limbs. Good feet. Good shoulder and fore chest. Pleasing head. Correct wire coat Perhaps a little more length of body would complete the picture.

Deans' Brontillow Gallant Stuart

Puppy Dog (2e)

Adams' Wyldetarn Shoot from the Hip. (Second in Minor Puppy.)

Warren's Wagginton Manhatten of Wagsford

8-month-old boy. He found the slippery floor a bit of a challenge but once he got into his stride moved nicely. He is well put together with enough length, plenty of bone and well knuckled feet. He seemed a bit unsure of the acoustics in the hall.

Junior Dog (1e)

Gibson's Allfreys London Look

Year old red boy. Fairly immature still and he will no doubt grow up in the next 12 months. Some take longer than others! I liked his masculine head with a strong muzzle. Well knuckled feet. Good reach of neck going into well placed shoulders. Good wire coat. Rear movement a little untidy at present which with age and muscle should improve.

Yearling Dog (1e)

Norman's Silvae Klasman

Young dog with a good wire coat. Nicely put together with plenty of length of back and correct stern carriage. Good shoulder and fore chest. Pleasing head. Just needs to sort out his movement which should come with age and exercise.

Post Graduate Dog (4e)

Vine's Cishelvine Caught Out.

Well-made boy, strong head, dark eye, good shoulders, plenty of bone and a nice length of back. Tight feet. Moved fairly well. Plenty of quality to him

Shaw's Tendrow Moondance

Very happy boy, correct front assembly, pleasing head, good wire coat, a little untidy on the move.

Clayton-Smith's Cishelvine Judge and Jury

Limit Dog (10e) Strong class

McCalmont's Silvae Kinsman DCC and BOB

Quality young dog. Masculine and strong. Sound, balanced and with good movement. Well made all through. Thank you for exhibiting him under me. I gather that this was his 2nd ticket.

Gibson's Allfreys Here's looking at you

Lovely quality head, well boned and well-made boy. Tight feet. He was not quite as balanced as the winner when moving.

Vine's Derochaise Justified for Cishelvine

Open Dog (7e 2a)

Phillips' Ch Wiretap Here I am (imp Can)

It is interesting how the N.American and Canadian imports have brought in and passed on a better hind action , better angulation ,which improves the drive, presumably this is why breeders have speculated on these imports. This Can. import has very good hind angulation and also a very prominent fore chest. He has good length of body and is balanced. Strong head and plenty of bone.

Wharton's and Pughe's Derochaise Black Tarquin

Pleasing hound, nicely made all through, good head and muzzle. Tight elbow with a good shoulder, moves soundly. Just needs to body up a bit.

Vine and Baxter's Cishelvine Red Admiral

Veteran Dog (2e)

Phillip's Ch. Cishelvine Swellegant Guy at Tendrow JW.

8-year-old veteran. Could hold his own in any company. Still in lovely condition. Happy and sound

Moore and Coverley's Ch. Ir. Ch Ex Sentia I'm Bond James Bond

9years old and looking good. Lovely temperament and sound in movement. Slightly stockier than the winner.

Minor Puppy Bitch (1e)

Chambers' Hototo's Lizzie of Pemberley

Very happy 6 month old puppy, feminine with a sweet head. Nicely made all though and strode out with enthusiasm.

Puppy Bitch (6e 1a)

Phillips' Cloudside Quintessence at Clipperdown

9-month-old puppy. Good clean lines. Pleasing head, good fore chest and lay of shoulder, enough length and plenty of bone. Correct wire coat. Would have liked a little more drive when moving but she is still young.

Ellis' Tendrow One Moment in Time at Vixendax

Another feminine puppy with a sweet expression. Red with a good coat. It is nice to find so many reds with good wire coats, years ago it was a rarity. Enough fore chest and good lay of shoulder but I would have liked just a bit more length of body. However, she moved nicely.

Gibson's Tendrow as Time Goes By.

Junior Bitch (11e 1a)

Phillips' Tendrow I Am What I Am

Another good red Wire coat and nicely presented little girl. Gentle expression. Enough fore chest and neck, and I would have liked a bit more length to body to complete the picture. But she was sound and balanced.

Warren's Wagsford Hester

Another good headed girl. Correct coat. Nicely put together all through and moved positively

around the ring.

Prior Cooper's Silvae Keynote

Yearling Bitch (4e 2a)

Hutchings' Tendrow I Am The One from Collidach

Very busy youngster. Plenty of bone. Good head, fore chest and shoulder and good reach of neck.

Correct coat. Moved strongly, just needed to lose an ounce or two before the indulgence of Christmas. !

Smith's Salixian Two for Two

Neat young bitch, with a very feminine head. Correct coat. I think she found the acoustics in the hall a bit much so didn't present herself in the way I am sure that she can.

Post Graduate Bitch (5e 1a)

Tendrow I Am The One from Collidach

Clayton –Smith's Boloria's April Fool

Very happy girl with a sweet expression and good head. Enough bone. Movement a little untidy but the floor was slippery especially on the bends.

Greyhayne Lilibet of Vixendax

Limit bitch (15e 3a)

Cracking class, best one of the day. So many could change places on another day.

Phillips' Tendrow Time 'N' Time Again RCC

Lovely bitch, full of quality, everything where it should be. Balanced and sound. Good class to win

McCalmont's Silvae Kizmet

Another lovely bitch, same remarks apply as the winner, just felt that she was not quite as mature in body as Time "N' Time Again.

Phillips' Tendrow Dancing on a Dream at Clipperdown

Open Bitch (11e 2a)

Another super class.

Phillips' Ch. Tendrow A Page in Time BCC RBOB

A super balanced red bitch. Moves extremely well with excellent drive behind. Shows off her attributes standing and moving. Thank you for bringing her under me.

McCalmont's Ch Silvae Solo

Top winning bitch full of quality. Well-made throughout, today, however, she found the floor surface a challenge when striding out.

Warren's Ch Wagsford Jennifer

Veteran Bitch (2e)

McCalmonts' Ch Sylvae Mystic Best Veteran

11-year-old still moving soundly and holding her topline steady. She seemed to be thoroughly enjoying her day out but would have liked a larger sausage please.! What a jolly nice veteran and a credit to her owners.

Coverley's Ch/Ir. Ch Aventine Shaken Not Stirred

A youngster at 7 years in lovely condition, still moving well. Good wire coat.

A pleasure to go over two lovely older girls.
