I felt this variety has improved in size and weight since I last judged them, with very few being heavy, coarse and cumbersome. Thank you for such a super entry to get stuck in to, I had some lovely dogs going cardless today.
Minor Puppy Dog (4)
1st: WHARTON Greyhayne Hooray Henry
Six months baby with good head and neck. Needs to drop into himself but he's a baby. Moved the best in this class.
2nd: ADAMS & SLIMAK Wyldetarn Shoot from the Hip
Larger type than first. Good topline. Well balanced head. Almond eye.
3rd DEAN Brontillow Gallant Stuart
Puppy Dog (2)
1st: GIBSON Allfreys London Look
Red with happy temperament. Moved well back and front and kept his topline on
the profile. Would like to see him as an adult as he was very much a baby right
now.
2nd: WARREN Waggington Manhatten of Wagsford
Although more finished than first, he wasn't as confident. Good head and well
off for bone and body. Will stride out more when more secure in his
surroundings.
Junior Dog (5)
1st: MOORE Cloudside Picasso
Liked this well balanced brindle very much. Super head and eye. Correct
front. Good bone and feet. Close up for Reserve CC. Moved well and had good
muscle.
2nd: GIBSON Allfrey's Here's Lookin at You
In
better coat than 1st. but was a shade heavier through the shoulder. Could move
with a shade more drive for preference.
3rd: HOWE Bramalodge Bravac Boris
Post Graduate Dog (4)
1st: CLAYTON SMITH Cishelvine Judge and Jury
Difficult class as all three were different types. First won due to having the
best movement. Has good coat and feet. Correct height to length ratio.
2nd: ARTHURS Hototo's Bark at the Moon
Not quite the shoulders of 1st. Could muscle up to improve hind drive. Has
good head and eye and showed well.
3rd VINE Cishelvine Caught Out
Limit Dog (13)
1st: VINE Derochaise Justified for Cishelvine
preferred Height to Length ratio of this one. Showed ok but could improve with
more muscle. Correctly made with good head, shoulder and ribbing.
2nd: MARSTON POLLOCK Cloudside Oliver
Good front with correct forechest. Slightly down on pasterns. Well rounded
backend with good muscle. Heavier through that 1st.
3rd: BUBB Tecklegarth Leapoffaith to Wyeknot.
Open Dog (6)
1st: COVERLEY Ch Aventine Jamaica Inn
Mature Dog in good Coat. Full of Character and moved with drive and forward
extension. Strong masculine head, good neck and shoulder. Level topline. Well
defined muscle.
2nd: MOORE & MALECKA Am Gr/Ch Pol Ch Ex Sentia Devils Advocate NAF TAF
Different type to 1st, Fabulous head, good neck, level topline. Happy
temperament. Slightly less drive than 1st.
3rd: WHARTON & PUGHE Derochaise Black Tarquin
Minor Puppy Bitch (1)
1st: Absent
Puppy Bitch (5 Entries) Abs 2
1st: ROWE Boloria's Trick or Treat
Well prepared harsh coat. Pretty head. Kept topline on move. Could drive from
behind a little more. but happy confident puppy.
2nd: GIBSON Tendrow As Time Goes By
Fantastic coat. Good forechest. Finer through than 1st. Just a little unsettled.
3rd: CHAMBERS Tendrow Black Pearl with Hototo
Junior Bitch (10)
1st: MCCALMONT Silvae Kismet
I
was taken by this super young bitch. Fabulous coat. Pretty head, good neck and
shoulder. Beautiful type. Moved well up and back. Can drop her head
periodically, but did enough here for me.
2nd: DAVIES Pendyffryn Miss Dolce by Atahira
Best feet of the day. Covered in harsh coat - super. Unlucky to meet 1st
today. Well balanced correct size. Well made throughout. Hind movement could
be a shade stronger.
3rd: PATERSON Ambiesque Aperitif
Post Graduate Bitch (10)
1st: SMITH Salixian Tea for Two
Very much my type. Compact and one to two. Pretty head. Good bone, tight
feet. Good angles both ends.
2nd: PUGHE & FRASER Bystock Pannacotta
Beautiful coat, similar remarks to 1st, but just not showing herself off as much
die to having just finished her season.
3rd: HUTCHINGS Tendrow I Am the One from Collidach
Limit Bitch (14)
Super Class
1st: WHARTON Greyhayne Black Velvet
Comes into her own on the move. Slight more scope took her in front of 2nd.
But it was very close. Good head, excellent balance of one to two. Kept her
outline at all times.
2nd: SEATH Hell's Ozlem at Sunsong (Imp Nor)
Best coat of the day! another balanced bitch with the same attributes as 1st.
Splitting hairs here!
3rd: HOWLETT & PROWLING Boloria's Arabella
Open Bitch (7)
1st: MCCALMONT Ch Silvae Solo
Mature, well made bitch of great quality with superb profile movement. My only
Criticism would be that she's a tad long, which is why she lost out to her
younger kennel mate. A super bitch.
2nd: PHILLIPS Ch Tendrow A Page on Time
Red in great coat. Very well made and correct Balance. Just lost to first on
elegance and flow in profile. Two very nice bitches of quality.
3rd: DEAN Brontillow Grace Darling
