SBD/B (2,0) I. Wills’ Cicelane Magnus. Happy outgoing compact brindle dog. Masculine head, adequate length of neck, reasonable front assembly but a little short in upper arm. Adequate length and depth of keel. Firm top-line, good ground clearance, strong well-angulated rear. Free energetic mover, true fore & aft. Good coat. BSB 2. Foglia’s Kentixen Abies Grandis. Heavier type than 1 with super harsh coat, unfortunately carrying a little too much weight which spoilt his outline. Good front and shoulder placement, wonderful bone with excellent feet. Firm top-line, quarters lack angulation which impedes his hind extension.

PD (1,0)1. Clifford’s Sussexdaxi Goosegerry Fool for Ablebody. A very raw baby with a delightful personality. Pleasant head with nice reach of neck, front is still yet to come, with rather loose elbows. Adequate ribbing, firmish top-line with a nice well-angulated rear. Free sound mover. BP

JD (1,0)1. McCalmont’s Silvae Trader. A young dog full of promise. Lovely houndy head, nice reach of neck, excellent front assembly with adequate ribbing. Firm top-line maintained on the move. Strong well-constructed quarters, slightly high tail set. Super free sound mover, with correct harsh jacket. BD

PGD (2,0) repeat of SB 1. Wills’ Cicelane Magus. 2. Foglia’s Kentixen Abies Grandis.

OD (2,0) 1. Clifford’s Ablebody Razzmatazz. This 9 yr old dog carries his years lightly and is quite remarkable. Gentle expression, excellent front construction with depth and length of keel. Well ribbed back with corresponding short loin. Firm top-line, powerful hammy quarters which is rare to see these days. Moves soundly. RBD 2. Wills’ Cicelane Magnus.

JB (2,0) 1. McCalmont’s Trademark. Just out of puppy and still a baby! Sweet head, reachy neck flowing into well-angulated shoulder. Adequate length of ribbing, a tad long in loin, firm top-line held on the move. Lovely rear construction with nice turn of stifle. Movement, excellent in profile but a little close behind going away. Good harsh coat. 2. Hornby’s Derochaise Miss Doir With Jacmist. Dark brindle of smaller stamp. Lovely feminine head with good length of neck, well placed shoulder. Good ribbing, firm topline, strong well-angulated quarters. Plenty of bone, tight feet. Not the ground clearance of I. Moved true fore & aft.

OB (2,1) 1. McCalmont’s Silvae Solo. There are no further accolades I can add about this remarkable bitch which have not already been said! A wonderful wire who is a great ambassador for the breed. PB BOB Hound Group 2. 2. Howlett & Prowling Boloria’s Arabella. A lovely compact bitch who was unfortunate to meet 1. Honest workmanlike head, good length and reach of neck flowing into a beautifully constructed front. Good ribbing with corresponding short loin, firm topline. Well-angulated rear with short well let down hocks, which enables her to power round the ring. I would have just preferred a shade more ground clearance to complete the picture. RBB
