Veteran - Dog Or Bitch
1ST ROMANCHI ALKANSEA (K, L & J CARTER)
Very handsome gentleman of high class. I liked everything about this squire.
2ND CH/IR CH AVENTINE SHAKEN NOT STIRRED (MRS J COVERLEY)
Nice grandmother of quality, but I preferred Alkanesea on the move
Puppy - Dog
1ST DEROCHAISE MANHATTON (MRS E & MISS V MAES-JONES &
BATES)
Promising youngster of excellent type. Good head, outline and coat. He moved
very well. One for the future. BP
2ND DEROCHAISE MONTEREY AT FENWIRES (MS L STOCKDALE)
Similar to the winner in type, but not so developed in boy at this stage. Quite
a nice head, well-constructed,
but could be better in front. Noves well around the ring
3RD HOTWIRE JUST IN CASE (MISS A & MRS L BAXTER & BALDWIN)
Junior - Dog
1ST WYLDETARN SHOOT FROM THE HIP JW (MRS L ADAMS)
Excellent dog which I liked very much. He has an excellent out-line. He is
moderately long and low with no
exaggerations. He is well developed in body with a good keel. He moves freely,
but his tail is unfortunately a
bit high.
2ND SALIXIAN EAU ROUGE (MRS F E & MR I S SMITH)
Another typical and attractive dog. He has a good outline, but front could be
better. He turns his feet
out too much. Moves well around the ring.
Post Graduate - Dog
1ST HOTWIRE FIRECRACKER (MISS A & MRS L BAXTER &
BALDWIN)
Dog of good type. Good head, well conducted, but a bit long in loin. Coat not
the best. Moves very well
2ND KISSDACHS BILBAO AT BRAMALODGE (MRS J HOWE)
This dog is all for me, but he did unfortunately not want to behave on the day.
Limit - Dog
1ST DEROCHAISE VERSACE JW (MRS E & MISS V MAES-JONES &
BATES)
Beautiful dog of with excellent proportions. He has a lovely head and a long and
muscular neck, slightly
arched. He is well developed in body and he has slightly arched loin. He moved
very well
2ND TENDROW MOONDANCE (MS J SHAW)
Dog of very good type, but on the heavy side.. Good head, moved well
3RD DEROCHAISE JUSTIFIED FOR CISHELVINE (MRS R M VINE)
Open - Dog:
1ST CH/IR CH AVENTINE JAMAICA INN (MRS L J COVERLEY)
Here was the king of the day. He had a lovely head and he was well developed in
body. He was fully muscled and he had a sloping shoulder which was blending
smoothly into his withers. His top-line arched slightly over the loin and he had
a strong and prominent breast bone. He was well angulated both end and his
movements were free and flowing with the drive coming from behind. For me this
was, an impressive Dachshund and I
was close to giving him BOB. In final heath he did, however not want to
cooperate with his handler, so he lost out on the top spot. Very close decision!
CC
2ND TENDROW REPLAYS THE RED GUY AT KINDEACE SHCM (MR KS& MRS SM PASKINS)
Close to the winner in Type and quality. He gave a picture of an excellent
Dachshund, but I preferred the topline on the first one. RCC
3RD CISHELVINE CAUGHT OUT (MRS R M VINE)
Puppy - Bitch
1ST SUNSONG KEEP A PROMISE (MRS S SEATH)
Very promising puppy of excellent type. Good head and well developed in body for
age. Moves very well
but she needs to strengthen in topline.
2ND STANEGATE CATHERINE WHEEL (MRS J L CARRUTHERS)
Close to the winner in type and quality, but she is a fraction too long in loin.
3RD ALLFREYS HELENA (MISS C P GIBSON)
Junior - Bitch
1ST BRAMALODGE BETSY BUTTON (MRS J HOWE)
beautiful bitch of excellent type. She had a smart outline and she moved very
well.
2ND TENDROW BLACK PEARL WITH HOTOTO (MISS C J CHAMBERS)
Another quality bitch of good type, but I preferred the top-line on the winner.
Post Graduate - Bitch
1ST PENDYFFREN MISS DOLCE BY ATAHIRA (MRS C DAVIES)
Beautiful red bitch of high class. Good head and neck, excellent proportion and
out line. Moved freely and typically for the breed,.
2ND SALIXIAN TEA FOR TWO (MRS F E & MR I S SMITH)
Quality bitch which pushed Miss Dolce hard for the top spot, but in the end I
preferred the topline on the winner.
.
3RD TENDROW I AM THE ONE FROM COLLIDACH JW (MRS F HUTCHINGS)
Limit - Bitch
1ST DEROCHAISE ELUSIA JW (MRS E & MISS V MAES-JONES &
BATES)
Superb bitch of excellent type. Fabulous head and a great front. I loved
everything about this bitch even if I would have liked to see a longer neck. She
was in immaculate condition and I was very close to giving her the RCC.
2ND HELLA'S OZLEM AT SUNSONG (IMP NOR) (MRS S SEATH)
Another top-class bitch of excellent type. She is an excellent Dachshund and she
scores on breed point. I would, however, have liked to see her a bit more
forward in temperament on the day.
3RD AMBIESQUE APERITIF (MESSRS P & B PATERSON)
Open - Bitch
1ST BRUMBERHILL BELLISSIMA (MR S A & MR P C MCPHERSON &
PATERSON)
This was a beautiful Dachshund bitch which was ticking all the right boxes. She
had an excellent head of good length with a slightly arched scull, neither too
narrow or wide. The muzzle was also slightly arched, and her lips were well
stretched, neatly covering the lower jaw. She had a long. muscular neck running
gracefully into her shoulders. She was well developed in body even if I would
have preferred her to be slightly shorter in loin.
Her breast bone was strong and prominent, and she was correctly angulated both
ends. I loved her free and typical Dachshund movements. I had no hesitation in
giving her the
CC and she ended up BOB after having had a big fight with Jamaica Inn for the
top spot. CC & BOB
2ND CH SILVAE SOLO (MR D C & MRS K D MCCALMONT)
This is a brilliant show dog and I can't add any superlatives which haven’t
already been used to describe this high flyer. I did, however, find her too boxy
in outline, lacking some of the smooth lines I would like to see in a Dachshund.
Her movements looked very impressive, but even if I know that a Dachshund should
move freely with a long stride I thought Solo’s movements were over extending.

3RD NOR CH GANDO AV LARHJELM (IMP NOR) (MRS S & MR L SEATH & HJELMTVEDT)
