Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the
Standard Wire Haired Dachshunds at this excellently organised championship
show, with lovely big rings that meant the dogs were able to really get in
their stride and show off their movement. Thank you to all the exhibitors
for your lovely entry of some real quality dogs, I really enjoyed the day,
this being my first time awarding CC’s in this breed.

sized male, good head and eye, lovely markings. Extended well on the moved,
keeping a level topline at all times.
2nd: 1307 FOGLIA Miss J Kentixen Abies Grandis. More
masculine than 1, houndy head and very well handled, preferred rear
angulation and movement of 1.

Ablebody – 8 month old puppy. Nice size, all in proportion. Good head and
eye, correct shoulder, length of ribbing, kept a level topline both on the
stance and the move, correct hind quarters, moved with maturity. Excellently
handled.

Neptunium Into Tepotis – nice head, eye and expression, finer all through
than 1. In excellent condition, moved well. Another nice puppy.

similar in type to 1. Similar remarks, moved and handled really well.

masculine boy with a lot to like. Real hound, excellent head with dark eyes,
good length of neck and well placed shoulder, level topline kept both on the

smaller than 1, lovely colour and markings, excellent mover.

gorgeous baby! 11 months old, but showed with the maturity of a veteran.
Feminine girl, excellent size and all in proportion, excellent head, correct
eye, length of neck, shoulders, ribbing, hocks and hindquarters. Looked a
picture on the move, keeping a perfect topline at all times. CC and BPIB.
2nd: 1333 VINE Mrs R M Cishelvine Kiss Me Quick –
another lovely puppy who has a bright future ahead of her. Good head, length
of neck and well placed shoulders, lovely temperament, looked a picture on
the stance.
