Thank you to the Dachshund Club of Wales for the invite to judge at their Championship Show and to the exhibitors for such a super entry, which I enjoyed immensely. There were lots of quality wires and places were hard fought.

1st: MATTHEWS Stanegate Billy The Kid what a lovely class to start with, 3 super males, all with very good breed type, At just 6 months what a promising baby this one is. Super head, strong neck into a correct front, good ribbing and depth for age, rear to complement his front, sound steady mover
2nd: ROWE Boloria's Aramis More mature than 1 but another quality lad. Similar remarks with lots to like, just felt 1 was a touch more together on the move

1st: ADAMS Tecklegarth Gatling JW Really liked this super boy, he has a good head, correct ear lovely strong neck, super in front, good depth with enough clearance, excellent ribbing and strong loin, good rear, moved very well, close up in the challenge.
2nd: LANGRIDGE Calicoe Thank God It's Friday Another lovely boy, so sound all through,, good make, particulary liked his front and body, super rear and moved very soundly

1st: CHAMBERS Cishelvine Just A Kiss With Hototo only a yearling so still has to mature, but lots to like, he presents a good overall picture, super head, clean front, good length and short loin, good rear another who pushed in the challenge
2nd: WILLS Cicelane Magnus Not quite the outline of one, good front, excellent topline, strong rear and moved soundly
3rd: LANGRIDGE Calicoe Thank God It's Friday

1st: ADAMS Ch Wyldetarn Shoot from the Hip JW Just loved this super boy as a minor puppy, he has matured into a super hound, fabulous head, into a good neck, good shoulder and keel, super ribbing with a short loin and balanced rear, moved really well, delighted to award him the DOG CC and BOS
2nd: MCCALMONT Silvae Trader so close up, was hard to separate these two, he too excels in construction and type, delighted to award him the RDCC, brother to my BCC winner
3rd: WHARTON Ch Greyhayne Hooray Henry

1st: PUGHE & FRASER Greyhayne Harriet At Bystock Really liked this quality girl, she knows how to make the most of her self, super head, correct front, good keel and ground clearance, super topline she holds on the moves, she excels on good movement from any angle, close up in the challenge
2nd: COVERLEY Aventine Dolcetto I recently awarded her litter sister a BIS3 at a hound show, she is similar in type, lovely outline, well balanced all through another very good mover close up
3rd: CLAYTON-SMITH Cairparavel Kiss From A Rose

1st: COVERLEY Aventine Amarela Sister to 2nd in junior, so very similar, I awarded this one BIS3 at a recent hound show, so feminine, loved her head, super front, well ribbed, and short loin, strong rear, moved well an easy winner of this class
2nd: CLAYTON-SMITH Cairparavel Lilac Wine a bitch of good breed type, good overall make and shape, enough length, strong rear, moved really well
3rd: MARTIN & NORTH-ROW Full Circle Barmaud Flora

1st: HUTCHINGS Tendrow I Am the One from Collidach JW This was a super class of ladies, little separated them, 1 has a really super head, clean front, good keel, super neck, very good topline and short strong loin, she is so balanced, she stole this class on her super movement and overall picture, delighted to award her the RBCC
2nd: MCCALMONT Silvae Trade Secret Litter sister to my BCC winner, she too is a lovely bitch, good type, very good front and matching rear, sound mover
3rd: CARRUTHERS Stanegate Catherine Wheel

1st: MCCALMONT Silvae Trademark loved this quality girl from the moment she entered the ring, she has such presence, super head, excellent neck and front, superb ribbing and short strong loin, strong rear which gave her her excellent movement, Delighted to award her CC her third I believe, Congratulations, she was my Best of Breed and thrilled to watch her go Best in Show,
