Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge this very enjoyable show. I thoroughly enjoyed my entry of quality dogs. I found forechests lacking in some of the exhibits and balance varied across the classes. I thank the exhibitors for their mostly sporting reception of my placings with a few exceptions.

Veteran Dog (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Moore and Coverley’s Ch/IR Ch Ex Sentia I’m James Bond Wire male 10.5 yr. lovely head of correct plains and ratio nice dark eye of almond shape. Well laid shoulder and forechest. Good deep rib with strong loin covered in excellent coat. Good hieght to length with ground clearance.Best mover in class.

2nd: Weatherer Salixian Levante via Itsuizuz, 7 year old, good head with correct eye shape and colour, nicely set ears, nice length of neck, good ribing and forechest, loin balanced him off nicely. Lost his topline on occasion.

Minor Puppy Dog (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: ROWE Boloria's Aramis, 7 month, good head of correct proportions, nice almond eyes, good reach of neck on good shoulders, nice forechest and depth of rib, moved out well and showed himself off to advantage. Best Puppy Dog

2nd: TURNER & MERRIFIELD Boloria Mr Moonlight, Litter mate of winner, all of the comments of his brother apply although he lacked some of his brothers maturity and finish, I’m sure they will change positions.

Puppy Dog (3 Entries) Abs: 0 

1st: DAVIES Atahira Cantata, 9 month old red, Lovely outline stood and on the move, good head of correct ratios with nice almond eyes of good colour, good length of neck, good forechest and rib balanced by loin to give good balance, he moved out with purpose and drive.

2nd: OSBOURNE Derochaise Vincenzo Di Braego, 10 month, Good head ratios, nice almond dark eye, good length of neck and shoulders, well ribbed with a good forechest.

3rd: EFFER Greyhayne Hector  

Junior Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 0 

1st: CHAMBERS Cishelvine Just A Kiss With Hototo, nicely balanced boy, good head ratios, good eye shape and colour with nice eyebrows. Good length of neck on nicely angled shoulders with a good forechest and keel, his loin balanced to give a nice balance. Moved out freely to take the class

2nd: ADAMS Tecklegarth Gatling JW. Good head with almond eyes, nicely set ears and good length of neck, good shoulders which matched his rear angles, good deep rib with ground clearance, moved out well with a happy tail.

3rd: MCPHERSON & PATERSON Brumberhill Mr Wilks 

Post Graduate Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 1 

1st: MCPHERSON & PATERSON Brumberhill Mr Wilks. Head of correct ratios with a nice dark almond eye, good high set ears and a good reach of neck, good forechest and keel, good depth of rib without loss of ground clearance. Rear angles matched his front and he moved out with drive and purpose to take class.

2nd: STOCKDALE Derochaise Monterey At Fenwires, Good head with good eye shape and colour, good eyebrows and ears. Nice length of neck, over a nice forechest and keel, good loin and rear angles, moved out well.

3rd: BINKS Tannahill Oslo  

Limit Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 1 

1st: ADAMS Wyldetarn Shoot From The Hip JW, Nice balance overall. Correct head ratios and shape, nice almond eyes, good forechest, good should er angles matching rear, nice depth of rib and spring, loin balanced his rib nicely. Moved out with reach and drive.

2nd: MAES-JONES & BATES Derochaise Manhatton, lovely head with good eye and ear, good reach of neck, good shoulders and keel. Not the forechest of winner. Loin balanced nicely to give balance. Moved out well.

3rd: SHAW Tendrow Moondance

Open Dog (9 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: WHARTON Ch Greyhayne Hooray Henry. Lovely head with dark almond eyes, high set ears of good shape, good length of neck and lovely shoulder angles good forechest and nice deep ribs and a short loin followed by a matching well muscled rear. Gave this boy a lovely outline which he kept on the move and throughout to take the Dog CC.

2nd: MCCALMONT Ch Silvae Trader, Nice head proportions with good dark almond eyes, high set ears, long neck on good shoulders with a nice amount of forechest, good keel and ground clearance, moved out well to take the RES Dog CC

3rd: DOWNES & MOORE Megline Aramis (Imp Rom)

1st: MAES-JONES & BATES Ch Derochaise Black Orchid, 11 years young and what a lovely lady. Nice long head with dark well shaped eyes, nicely set ears and good length of neck, nice lay of shoulder balanced by rear end, good forechest and depth and spring of rib, loin short giving correct ratio of height to length. Moved with poise and drive to take Best Veteran in Breed.

Minor Puppy Bitch (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: ELDRED Derdledash Moon Beam 6 months, lovely head of correct proportions, on a good length of neck. Good shoulders, forechest and shoulders, nice depth of rib and strong loin. Rear balanced the front and she moved out with poise and drive for so young a baby.

2nd: ROWE Boloria's Miss Dior. Good hear ratios, almond shaped eyes, good length of neck, good forechest and keel, angles balanced nicely and moved out well. Not as positive on the move as winner.

3rd: MAES-JONES & BATES Derochaise Solitaire.

Puppy Bitch (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: GIBSON Allfreys Matilda. good head of a nice balanced nature, good length with dark almond eyes. Ears well set, all on a good length of neck over good shoulders and forechest, well ribbed and a nice loin. Rear balanced front to give lovely movement to clinch BPB and BPIB.

2nd:PUGHE & FRASER Greyhayne Harriet At Bystock. Another lovely puppy, lovely balanced head with dark almond shaped eyes, good reach of neck and good shoulders, forechest and keel pleased as did the loin and rear end. Moved out well. Not the balance of winner today.

Junior Bitch (3 Entries) Abs: 0 

1st: CLAYTON-SMITH Cairparavel Kiss From A Rose. 14 month, lovely head of correct proportions, on a good neck with a nice forechest and keel, loin balanced ribs to give good ratio of length to height. Moved out with style and drive.

2nd: SANDERS Knottsrose Mystique. All comments apply as winner. Not as steady on the move and not quite as balanced.

3rd: VINE Mrs R M Cishelvine Kiss Me Quick  

Post Graduate Bitch (4 Entries) Abs: 0 

1st: CLAYTON-SMITH Cairparavel Lilac Wine. 14 month litter sister to previous class winner. Another lovely bitch with a good head of correct proportions, eye shape and colour, nice high ears and good length of neck, nice angles front and rear with good keel and loin giving good balance and ratios. All covered in a good coat. Moved out well with drive to take class.

2nd: MARTIN & NORTH-ROW Full Circle Barmaud Flora. Nice head of correct proportions, good reach of neck and and nice shoulders balanced by her rear. Correct height to length ratios and good movement gained her the placing.

3rd: HORNE Salixian Cafe Noir 

Limit Bitch (13 Entries) Abs: 2 Class full of Quality Bitches.

1st: CARRUTHERS Stanegate Catherine Wheel. Presented a balanced picture throughout, Correct head ratio with a nice length of head, good dark eyes of a pleasing shape topped off with lovely eyebrows. Good length of neck leading into great shoulders giving good angles, nice forechest, keel and strong loin balancing it all off her well muscled rear complimented her front assembly and gave her lovely movement with reach and drive to keep winning through. Bitch CC and BOB.

2nd: MCCALMONT Silvae Trade Secret. Lovely head with correct eyes and ears, neck of good length, good shoulders and forechest, keel and ground clearance. Loin was strong and rear balanced front. Not quite as balanced as winner and not as steady on the move.

3rd: HUTCHINGS Tendrow I Am The One From Collidach JW 

Open Bitch (8 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: MCCALMONT Silvae Trademark. Head of correct proportions and good eye shape with dark colour, elegant neck, on good shoulders, good forechest and keel. Rear well muscled and balanced front allowed free and easy movement.

2nd: HOWLETT & PROWTING Boloria Arabella. Lovely head with good eyes, ears set on a good length of neck. Good shoulders, forechest, keel and ribs. Loin balanced nicely. Good ground clearance, moved well.

3rd: MCPHERSON & PATERSON Brumberhill Bellissima ShCM 

Champion Bitch (1 Entries) Abs: 0 

1st: MAES-JONES & BATES Ch Derochaise Elusia JW. Lovely balanced head of correct proportions, lovely dark almond shaped eyes with good ear set. Good length of neck into good shoulders with a good forechest and keel. Legs tucked in nicely. Good ribbing and loin well muscled rear allowed good free movement. Loved her balance and style pushed hard for the CC but just pipped.
