PD, 5, 1, Mrs J V Frampton, Weinacht Larch at Drakkina.
Excellent type, well sculpted head set on reachy neck. Shoulders at correct
angles with a steady topline, held on the move. Hind angulation and quarters set
correctly, which allowed him to move so well around the large ring. BP, BSB.
2, Mrs L Adams, Tecklegarth Gatling JW. Masculine head with good carriage,
shoulders & forechest forming correct front but just lost his topline on the
move. Drives well from the rear.
JD. 5 (1) Miss C J Chambers, Cishelvine Just a Kiss with Hototo. This boy caught
my eye as soon as he entered the ring! Strong head, bold and expressive, held
proudly. Excellent shoulders with a sweeping keel, leading to deep ribcage. A
short loin and a powerful backend completed the picture. I felt this young boy
could work all day and then some! RCC.
2, Mrs V Phillips, Royal Pepper’s Vice Versa. Strong head with correct
expression leading to well laid shoulders. Tight elbows, pronounced prosternum
and good ribbing. Well angulated backend with a powerful drive.
PG. 2. 1, E Brown, Romanchi Neptunium Into Tepotis. Very well balanced dog with
typical head and expression. Good forehand and strong quarters. Covered the ring
well with a good open movement
2, Miss J Foglia, Kentixen Abies Grandis. Good proportions all through giving a
good overall impression, but lost topline on the move.
LD. 8. (1), Mrs L Adams, Wyldetarn Shoot from the Hip JW. Strong and expressive
head. Well placed shoulders and oval front with a good sweep of keel. Well
rounded ribbing. Topline held when moving with a free flowing stride. Drove well
from the rear.
2, Miss D Hinder, Aventine the Kings General. Very masculine dog, honest and
workmanlike. Strong muscular body, angles fore and aft correct. Strong short
loin with true movement both ways.
OD, 4. (1), Mr D & Mrs K D McCalmont, Silvae Trader. Excellent type, always
alert, masculine head on reachy neck. Excellent outline and didn’t disappoint on
the move. Strong body but not overdone, angles front and rear all correct,
ribbing going right back. Hindquarters strong and well-rounded giving him the
power to move around the ring with style. CC
2, Moore & Downes, Megline Aramis. Masculine head with typical expression and
excellent ribbing but didn’t have the movement of 1, due to being a much heavier
build.
SB. 4. 1, Mrs J V Frampton, WeinachtLarch at Drakkina
2, E Brown, Romanchi Neptunium Into Tepotis
VD. 0
GC. 1. Miss J Foglia, Kentixen Abies Grandis
PB. 5. Mrs H M & Ms C Pughe & Fraser, Greyhayne Harriet at Bystock. Very well
balanced bitch, well put together. Feminine head with pleasing expression. Good
forehand and long ribbing. Strong quarters giving her a good open stride.
2, Mrs J & Miss R Rowe, BoloriasTrick or Treat JW. Smaller type but everything
in proportion and plenty of bone. Feminine head. Front assembly good with tight
elbows and pronounced prosternum. Well angulated quarters and good hind action.
JB.4. 1, J Clayton-Smith, Cairparavel Kiss From a Rose. Everything I was looking
for! Strong, expressive head and eye, bold, but still ultra-feminine.
Beautifully put together front assembly, which, when viewed from the front,
presented the correct oval shape with tight elbows and well laid shoulders.
Lovely sweeping keel. Steady topline at all times. Short loin and strong
powerful backend with correct angles. When moving presented a beautiful picture,
strong and true. With bitches of this quality, I have no fears for the future of
the breed. CC, BOB & BJ
2, Mrs L J Coverley, Aventine Dolcetto. Well balanced bitch, with good
proportions all through. Well defined head, strongly arched neck with correct
shoulders. Topline held at all times with ribbing going well back. A good,
driving action, covered the ring with ease.
PG 4. (1) 1, Mr I S & Mrs S E Smith, Salixian Tea For Two. Well balanced with
feminine head and expression, good neck leading into correct shoulders. Strong
ribbing and a well angulated back end enabled her to move freely around the
ring.
2, Mrs L J Coverley, Aventine Amerela. Very similar construction to number 1.
Nothing overdone, but well off for bone. Correct angles all round and a very
pleasing mover.
LB. 5, 1, Mr D & Mrs K D McCalmont, Silvae Trade Secret. Well put together with
a typical expression. Proud head carriage, very well laid shoulders leading
smoothly into an oval, well sprung rib cage. A short loin and correctly
angulated rear end completed the picture. Movement straight and true.
2, Mrs S Seath, Sunsong Keep a Promise. Strong but femine head and expression,
beautiful front assembly and ribbing. Short loin and powerful rear movement.
Very little to choose between these two, just preferred the movement of 1 on the
day.
OB. 6, 1, Mr M & Miss R Howlett & Prowting Bolorias Arabella. Very elegant
bitch, but with great substance. Nothing overdone. Very sound in her movement,
keeping her topline at all times. Good forehand and strong quarters. Well off
for ribbing with a short loin. RCC
2, Mrs S Seath, Nor Ch. Gando AV Larh Jelm (Imp Nor). I wasn’t surprised to hear
these two were related! I just preferred the movement of 1 on the day. Well off
for bone, but still feminine. Angles front and rear correct, straight movement,
driving from the rear.
SB. 2. 1, Mrs L Sanders, Knotttsrose Mystique. Typical expression, good keel and
well done for bone. Level topline going into nicely rounded quarters. Short
hocks allowing well driven movement. 2, J Clayton-Smith, Cairparavel Lilac Wine.
Good proportions all round, and a good solid type, top and underline good, moved
out well.
