I thank the committee for inviting me to Judge the Wire Haired Dachshunds at what turned out to be the first general championship show to take place for some time. The committee had worked hard to make everything as Covid safe as possible and every one was made welcome. I found the quality and temperaments were excellent and thank the Exhibitors for their entries.
Puppy Dog 1st Wharton’s Ernest Hemingway V H Ruwielse Land To Greyhayne (imp NLD). Good head eye & forechest with good length of ribbing moved out well keeping a good outline.
2nd Leregos Teckelgarth Pike Milligan Masculine head and correct eye with a good reach of neck going into a level topline.
3rd Akehurst Boloria All Spice.
Junior Dog. 1st Hutchings & Price Collidach Percy Cute at Samlane Good head eye and forechest good shoulder placement with a reach of neck flowing into a level topline which he kept on the move .
2nd Seaths Sunsong Fire Opal Pleasing head & eye good length of ribbing and level topline.
