BEST OF BREED : 5291 MCCALMONT, Mrs K & MCCALMONT, Mr D Silvae Fan Dancer
Many thanks to my steward, Rob McMaster, for keeping things running smoothly and the exhibitors for a good entry. I enjoyed the day going over some quality wires.
Veteran Dog (1)
1st: VINE, Derochaise Justified for Cishelvine, Good head and eye, good neck,
bit short in upper arm, I found a little short in ribbing and topline tended to
roach, Super Quarters with good length to first thigh. Moved soundly
fore and aft.
Puppy Dog (5)
1st: ELDRED, Derdledash Naughty Neptune, Very promising baby, Beautiful head,
correct eye shape, long neck, well laid shoulder with enough upper arm, good
ribbing, good bone and feet, good quarters. Kept a nice outline of the
move.
2nd: HOWE, Miss E G Bramalodge Blaze of Glory, Good puppy of a different type, a
little more mature looking than the winner and has a lot of similar attributes.
Number one just appealed more in outline and on the move.
3rd: 5261 ADAMS, Mrs L D Sonham Paddington
Junior Dog (1)
1st: MCCALMONT, Silvae Timekeeper, I'm sure this young man will end up very hard
to beat when he settles. Beautiful head and eye, strong neck, good layback
and shoulder angulation, good forechest, ribbing carried well back, well
balanced quarters, presented to perfection. Settled to move much better in
the challenge to win Res CC
Post Graduate Dog (3,1)
1st: DAVIES, Atahira Ruffian, Slightly heavier than I like it type, but
nevertheless a good male, good head, strong neck, slightly forward in shoulder
placement, excellent forechest, bone, feet, ribbing and well angulated quarters.
Moved soundly and to good effect.

elegant with a lovely head and eye, good neck and layback of shoulder but rather
steep in upper arm and not so much forechest, good ribbing, fair quarters.
Showed well.

Open Dog (4)
1st: MCCALMONT, Mrs K & MCCALMONT, Mr D Ch Silvae Trader, Presented to
