I wish to thank the officers and committee of Richmond championship show for their hard work and superb hospitality, and for asking me to step in as a substitute for two judges today.

I also wish to thank exhibitors for accepting the last minute change in judges and the judging order.

I am sure everyone will join me in wishing Phil Rollinson and Roz Rawson better health soon.

I was blessed with two excellent stewards, Jim Murdoch and Elizabeth Harrap, Thank you both for an excellent job.

DACHSHUNDS- WIREHAIRED

I last judged the wires just over two years ago and i was so pleased to see the improvements, the breed is looking strong and i was particularly impressed with the quality in the younger classes, this bodes well. All were in excellent condition and god temperaments.
