This was my first time awarding CC’s to Wire’s, and I would like to thank the committee for their invitation to judge, to my stewards for their fantastic help, and to all the exhibitors for their entries. I thought that the overall standard of dogs was excellent, there were many dogs that were an absolute pleasure to go over and in many cases I was spoilt for choice. It is a pity that I can only award two CC’s, as there were many fantastic dogs which no doubt will go on to later win their titles. There were a few very well constructed dogs that were let down slightly on the move with heads down/distracted movement. Understandably every dog can have an off day, although it was a pity as I would’ve really liked to place them higher if they had gotten going and showed off themselves off better. Finally I was delighted to see a very good level of hygiene with lots of clean teeth and clipped nails. The vast majority of dogs were very well turned out, which speaks for the love and care their owners put in.
