My thanks go to the committee for their invitation to judge, and
also more importantly to the exhibitors for bringing their lovely dogs for me to
assess. My two stewards were excellent and kept the ring running beautifully and
allowed me to finish in good time.
Class 249 PD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 843 SEATH, Mrs S Sunsong Dare To Dream. This young man has a super
temperament and moved quite well back and forth he kept a level top line on the
move and used his hindquarters to good advantage. He has a pleasing head and eye
And he is well off for bone. In the challenge for best puppy the girl was just
that little more advanced.
2nd: 791 DICKINSON, Miss Amy Sonham Double Trouble at Dakotadax this baby has a
very good coat and has a pleasing head and eye. Not quite the top line of one or
the controlled back movement however will improve with time.
3rd: 795 FARRINGTON, Mrs Sharon Dollydash Defender of Faith

Shaded red who is a lovely shape, great temperament and has a pleasing head.
Good feet and bone and well-balanced height to length kept a level top line on
the move.
2nd: 810 JACKSON, Mrs Susan & JACKSON, Mr Roger Elderkine Special Brew Another
shaded red who lost to one on back action slightly down pastern otherwise
pleasing all through.

Class 251 YD (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 784 CARRUTHERS, Mrs J Ch Stanegate Salvador Superb presentation on this
well grown boy balanced throughout with a level topline and good hammy quarters.
Prominent fore chest and head of good shape. Shown to good advantage.
2nd: 852 VINE, Mrs Ruth Cishelvine Coriolanus. Red whose size I actually
preferred to one but not quite the coat or presentation. Well angulated back and
front top line kept on the move. Beat three on coat texture.

Class 252 SBD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 814 MASON, Mr Tom & MASON, Mrs Emma Bramalodge Bet On The Blues. Coat was
of good quality but could have better presentation. Well angulated quarters and
kept his top line on the move. Won this class with something to spare.
2nd: 847 SUMMERFIELD, Mr George HOLTSMERE ROYAL GEORGE (AX4). Very good coat on
this exhibit and was well handled but showed some nerves. Kept his top line and
has good feet and legs.

Class 253 PGD (7 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 780 BEST, Mrs Julie Stanegate Set Em Up Joe for Bestina. This exhibit beat
second on a more collected profile movement had better feet and his harsh coat
went to his toes. Good quarters and well-balanced well up to size.
2nd: 776 ADAMS, Mrs Lynda Dawn Ellesophia fly me to the moon JW. This pleasing
exhibit was dropping his top line ever so slightly on the move today.Difficult
coat to present but well executed. Happy disposition and showed with enthusiasm.
3rd: 851 VINE, Mrs Ruth Cishelvine Quintillion
Res: 844 SHAW, Ms J Tendrow Will I Am
VHC: 848 TURNER, Miss H Hototo Rocket man
Class 254 LD (9 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 813 MAES-JONES, Mrs E & BATES, Miss V Derochaise Blue Danube. Considered
this exhibit for the reserve CC. Great coat balanced throughout lovely head with
good bone and feet. Kept his top line and moved well just would like a shade
more confidence.
2nd: 794 ELDRED, Miss Susan Ann Elizabeth Derdledash Naughty Neptune JW. Black
and tan Coat which was a good texture given his colouring. Well off the bone and
had good tight feet top line was good. Well off the bone and had good tight feet
top line was good. A little untidy on the move. This was a difficult class to
judge.

Class 255 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 834 PHILLIPS, Mrs Valerie Ch Royal Pepper's Vice Versa (Imp Fin). Best of
breed today and a superb exhibit. I prefer the neck of one over two however both
these dogs were very good. Both first and second had great coats, lovely heads
and both moved with confidence and positivity. It was the slightly more elegant
outline of vice versa that gave him the edge today. I believe he Is the sire of
the bitch cc today.
2nd: 783 CARRUTHERS, Mrs J Ch Aikton Alexander at Stanegate. A well-known
exhibit who is prepared to the hair. Lovely dog with no great faults and I just
felt he was a little overdone on shoulder today carrying a tad more weight than
required. Otherwise very little to say negatively.
3rd: 830 NORMAN, Miss Claire Ch Silvae Klansman

1st: 849 VIG, Mr B Croat Ch Q-rrens-dax Enzo Topazo (Imp). Eight years old and
lovely tight elbows with good coat right down onto the neat feet. Good head and

good muscle tone and a pleasing exhibit.

Class 257 PB (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 838 PUGHE, Ms H M & FRASER, Ms C Bystock Blue Orchid. This very dark coated
girl has excellent movement back-and-forth and in profile she has good quarters
and pleasing head. Just needs to body up and muscle up which of course will come
in time. Felt her more controlled performance won her best puppy today.
2nd: 842 SEATH, Mrs S Sunsong Hopes And Dreams. Pretty little puppy with very
appealing head top line kept well and coat coming through nicely, just not quite
as tight behind as the first.

Class 258 JB (6 Entries) Abs: 0 This was a difficult class to judge as they were
all so different.

all through with good head eye and neck moved well back and forth and kept top
line in profile handled and prepared very well indeed.
2nd: 839 ROWE, Mrs Jenny BOLORIA SUGAR'N SPICE. This girl appeared to be quite
difficult to handle as she is full of herself, good topline and balance
throughout, not quite as positive behind as first.
3rd: 809 HUTCHINGS, Mrs F Collidach Raynee Day

bone held her top line.

lovely girl of good quality not quite the coat of the first but close up.
Profile movement very good strong hammy quarters.

Class 260 SBB NO ENTRIES
Class 261 PGB (8 Entries) Abs: 0 difficult class of varied exhibits.
1st: 853 VINE, Mrs Ruth Cishelvine Cassandra. Preferred the type of this exhibit
over second. Brindle with good coat lovely short nails and good feet. Correct
front moved well.
2nd: 826 MOUNTFORD, Mrs M Incordemeo My Story. Black and tan with exceedingly
close coat leaving no furnishings which whilst correct does detract slightly
from the head. Moved well in all directions would profit from a shade more bone.
3rd: 836 PHILLIPS, Mrs Valerie Tendrow What I Am I Am
Res: 779 BEAGRIE, Mrs A & BEAGRIE, Mr A Ellesophia Light The Way to Feldhund JW

type. Big enough but moving well. Good coat well presented kept her top line on
the move and has a pretty head. Preferred the ground clearance of this exhibit
over second.
2nd: 824 MOORE, Mr Wendell Derochaise Black Cherry Cloudside. Black and tan of
good shape topline a shade soft, but very well presented and handled with good
movement back in front and great feet.

Class 263 OB (7 Entries) Abs: 1 Super class.
1st: 807 HOWLETT, Miss Roisin & PHILLIPS, Mrs V Ch Tendrow Makes the Right turn
JW. This girl has a stunning outline handled to perfection and put down to the
minute. Lovely top line head shoulder and forechest tight feet and plenty of
bone. Moved well up-and-down and in profile. Pleased to award her the Cc.
2nd: 808 HUTCHINGS, Mrs F Ch Collidach Brook Ling. lovely red girl slightly
longer cast than first but quality all through loved her and profile movement
and particularly liked her being full of character. Coat is of good quality and
is well prepared. Lovely head and eye. Good for chest and oval thorax. Just
preferred the more compact body of one.
3rd: 840 ROWE, miss Rebecca Boloria's Trick or Treat JW
Res: 819 MCCALMONT, Mrs Kim & MCCALMONT, Mr Duncan Ch Silvae Fan Dancer

Class 264 VB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 812 MAES-JONES, Mrs E & BATES, Miss V CH Derochaise Elusia JW. Considered
this 7 1/2 year old Brindle for the reserve CC. Lovely quality head with good
bone and feet, coat harsh and well presented moved well up and back and
although I prefer the size of two, Her more precise movement won the class.
2nd: 846 SMITH, Mr Ian & SMITH, Mrs Fleur Salixian Tea for Two. Good bone and
head on the seven-year-old kept her top line on the move although she was a
little reluctant to put it all in today.
