MPD(2) 1: Moore & Downes’ Romanchi Day at the Races A nicely balanced 7 month old puppy with a masculine head , correct bite and a nice dark eye . Enough neck and keel he kept his topline on the move, well developed quarters he strode out showing himself to advantage true in front and presenting a nice shape in profile BPD
2: Rowe’s Boloria Goodnight Mr Tom Another quality puppy with a well proportioned head good neck leading into a level topline ,well ribbed deep chest . He was exuberant on the move showing good reach and drive. In the following class he settled and presented himself to better advantage winning the class .

2: Coverly’s Aventine The Poacher An 11 month old puppy pleasing head and expression , strong jaw and correct bite . Shoulders ok level topline a little longer in the loin than first, nice quarters he moved soundly
JD ( 5,3) 1: Howlett & Philips’ Tendrow Malibar JW A very smart youngster who is just coming into his own , good head leading into good length of neck with a nice set on . Good shoulders deep chest and well ribbed back strong loin and well developed quarters he presented a lovely outline on the moved showing good reach and drive a strong contender for RCC.
2: Moore’s Cloudside Vincent Nicely proportioned head with a dark eye , good front with enough keel legs well under . Deep chest well ribbed In good condition Positive on the move with good drive .
PGD ( 5) 1: Christie’s Cloudside Valentino at Decalleigh This youngster turned on the magic today and was much more positive on the move than I have previously seen him , pleasing well proportioned head good length of neck level topline and strong quarters moved with style and purpose covering the ground well .
2: Norman’s Silvae State Secret Another quality youngster who could easily have swapped places with first. A handsome head dark eye good leg with feet well under , well ribbed deep chest moved well true coming and going
LD (5,1) 1: Adam’s Ellesophia Fly Me To The Moon JW An honest dog well presented with a clean outline , masculine head , nice legs and feet , well balanced , moved well
2: Akehurst’s Boloria All Spice Nice head alert expression, balanced throughout, a nice size not cooperating with hander today moved ok
This class was a delight and a challenge to judge , my decision in the end came down to personal preference as the class was full of quality and my winners could easily change places.
OD (6,1 ) 1: Phillips’ Ch Royal Pepper’s Vice Versa (impFin) This dog epitomises my idea of a dachshund shape , masculine head but in no way overdone lovely dark eye and a strong jaw , neck long with a slight arch , good keel feet well under , well laid back shoulders and enough length of upper arm , level topline well ribbed back nice rear angulaion completing the picture .he strode out well with reach and drive easily covering the ground a joy to watch DCC & BOB
2: Carruthers’ Ch Aikton Alexander at Stangate Another quality dog who I have admired from the ring side with very similar attributes to the first with super construction a nice size good bone ,well balanced, strong quarters well muscled beautifully presented he comes into his own on the move and powers round the ring RDCC
3: Seath’s Ch Sungsong Dare to Dream
VD (3)1: Norman’s Ch Silvae Klansman Although now a veteran he has lost none of his joie de vivre Well proportioned head , good keel , tight feet , well ribbed and good quarters and rear angulation true coming and going
2: Langridge’s Tendrow Elberta ShCm Pleasing type nice head and expression ,good neck clean neck nice condition true coming and going when he settled
MPB(4) 1:Moore & Downes’ Romanchi Night at The Opera This young lady was enjoying her day out , pleasing head with a sweet expression nice clean neck leading into good shoulders , well ribbed back good quarters , when she settled showed lovely outline in profile true coming and going BP
2: Dean & Moore’s Romanchi A Kind of Magic to Dierfiur Another nice puppy from the same kennel not as mature as first ,pretty head nice eye and expression , enough bone, tight feet, level topline moved ok gave her handler a challenge
PB(3,1) 1: Waller’s Lallybrook Royal Toast A nine moth old Good head proportions, clean neck , well ribbed , enough bone, a little hap hazard on the move today but doing enough to win the class
2: Waller’s Lallybrook Royal Legacy Litter sister to first , very similar in many aspects she is just not as positive in topline or as mature
JB ( 10,4) 1: McCalmont Silvae Kitemark A 14 month old bitch nice type typical of this kennel , pleasing head , good neck and front assembly , well ribbed , nice quarters , presented a nice shape in hard condition showed drive and reach on the move not giving handler an easy time today
2:Phillips’ Tendrow Carolina Reaper A close decision between first and second , a type a find pleasing to the eye , lovely soft expression , good pigmentation, correct bite, deep chest well ribbed , well muscled quarters moved true coming and going
PGB( 9,5) 1: Howe’s Bramalodge Beeswing Head well balanced , good body , holds her topline well nice rear angulation moved with positivity
2: Moore & Dean’s Brontillow Canterbury Bell to Dierfiur Pleasing head , front assembly not as good first , deep chest , level topline just a little untidy on the move
LB ( 10,2) 1: McCalmont’s Silvae Best Kept Secret Nice head proportions, good eye , clean neck , good front assembly ,good keel , well ribbed ,deep chest , in hard condition well presented , moved well
2: Phillips’ Tendrow Turns Over the Page Another difficult decision between first and second , correct head proportions , enough bone , legs well under , strong toplne , well angled rear , not as tidy as first on the move today hence my decision
OB ( 6,1) 1: Hanney- Mitchell Mc Calmont & Mc Calmont’s Ch Silvae Time After Time at Bronia This lady turned on the magic today , lovely breed type , shown in good coat and condition, clean neck , good legs and feet , well muscled short loin , good quarters , she comes into her own on the move CC
2: Howlett & Phillips’ Ch Tendrow Makes the Right Turn JW Another quality bitch from this kennel pretty head , nice front assembly , stong topline , good quarters well muscled true coming and going a strong contender for the RCC
VB (2,1) 1 : Phillips’ Ch Tendrow A Page in Time Nice This more mature lady announced her arrival in the ring in true dachshund style , well proportioned head dark eye good bone a nice size and shape harsh coat well presented and where the other younger ladies flagged in the challenge, she just went better really enjoying herself earning her the RCC & BV
