I was honoured to have the Rix and Berry partnership steward for me all day, thanks lads! PD (2) 1. Beagrie’s Feldhund Moonlight. Lovely puppy, liked his head, eye and neck very much, immaculate front, lovely to go over and super coated, sound active mover, can drop his top-line a little at times but minimal, loved him, BP. 2. Rowe’s Boloria Goodnight Mr Tom. Another good one, not quite the coat of winner or the front assembly, liked his head and expression and pleasing to handle, can improve behind and proud of his tail. JD (4,1) 1. Howlett/Phillips’ Tendrow Malibar JW. A really good Wire with a super coat, liked his head and eye very much, lovely bone and front with thick padded feet, so well ribbed and a strong top-line, so well made and super mover, close up in the challenge. 2. Moore’s Cloudside Vincent. Very different in type to winner and lower to ground, so well put together with lovely bone and feet, big ribs, well coated, so sound and very masculine. 3. Clayton-Smith’s Cairparavel Hartnell. PGD (6) 1. Christie’s Cloudside Valentino at Decalleigh. A sound, honest Wire, very good to go over and has a lovely head, good in front but a little more neck would enhance, lovely coat and a good mover, won his JW today I was told, well done. 2. Mason’s Bramalodge Bet On The Blues. Very similar in lots of ways to winner, he has a good neck but not quite the front, little narrow coming towards, lovely coat and condition, uses himself well going round. 3. Best’s Stanegate Saviero at Bestina. LD (7,2) 1. Norman’s Silvae State Secret. Super coated lad who I liked a lot, so well balanced and so very very sound, lovely head, eye and expression, excellent front, neck and top-line, super bone and feet, firm top-line, lovely going round, RDCC. 2. Akehurst’s Boloria All Spice. Smaller type but another good Wire, very appealing in head and expression, lovely outline, firm top-line, good coat, good mover, tail can detract at times. 3. Best’s Stanegate Set Em Up For Joe for Bestina. OD (4) 1. Carruthers’ Ch. Aikton Alexander at Stanegate. Super Wire I have always liked, immaculate in coat and condition, lovely head and joy to go over being so well made, lovely front and feet, well ribbed and immaculate top-line, absolutely sound and a big open side gait, won DCC with ease, for BOB the lovely bitch just went up a gear and just pipped him, credit to the breed. 2. Maes-Jones/Bates’ Derochaise Blue Danube. Another good and typy Wire, again with a lovely jacket, liked him a lot too, very good front assembly, just not quite the forechest of 1st, good bone and feet, firm top-line, sound mover. 3. Vine’s Cishelvine Quintillion. VD (1) 1. Norman’s Ch. Silvae Klansman. Outstanding for 8 years, shown in lovely coat and condition, still very sound and active on the move, lovely head and eye, reachy neck, strong top-line and a good showman, BV. SBD/B (2) 1. Sieminski’s Wyldetarn Genesis. Very nice bitch, totally feminine and so very sound, pretty head and eye, good to go over and a very good coat, BSpB. 2. Mason’s Bramalodge Bet On The Blues. 2nd in PGD. PB (6,2) 1. Moore/Downes’ Romanchi Night At The Opera. Very mature girl with an excellent outline, very reachy neck, good bone and feet, good front, lovely top-line and well coated, pleasing in head, on the move very good in front but a bit unsettled behind. 2. Dickinson’s Derdledash Skyfall at Dakotadax. 6 months baby, very ‘roly poly’, liked her very much for type and size, very pretty head and pleasing to handle, super coat and sound enough, just needs to lose some puppy fat. 3. Beagrie’s Feldhund Show The Way. JB (8) Very good class. 1. Carruthers’ Stanegate Starlene. This bitch is quality all through, lovely head, eye and expression, super oval front and lovely feet, good neck and firm top-line, lovely to go over being so well ribbed up, on the move she is ultra sound coming and going and lovely going round, just found her that bit long in the couplings for balance but a super one. 2. Phillips’ Tendrow Carolina Reaper. A lovely red, liked her a lot too, very pretty head and eye and is very good in outline, so good to go over and she is a sound mover with a good coat, gave her handler a hard time, naughty but nice. 3. Arthurs’ Elderkine’s Austin. PGB (6,3) 1. McPherson/Paterson’s Brumberhill Barbed Wire. Very surprised to find a bitch of this calibre in this class, such a lovely girl, lovely head and eye, super front and feet, good forechest, well ribbed, immaculate top-line and a strong rear, immaculate in coat and condition, so very sound and so feminine, won a well deserved RBCC over some excellent bitches. 2. Parrott’s Bystock Blue Tango at Marondera. A bigger girl and not quite the head of winner, very good to go over and has a lovely coat, sound but carrying a bit too much weight. 3. Eldred’s Dakotadax Check Mate JW. LB (9,2) Another good class. 1. McCalmont’s Silvae Best Kept Secret. Lovely Dachshund, super neck and outline, loved the head and eye, good front and feet, very good top-line, strong quarters giving such drive behind, lovely coat and presentation. 2. Parrott’s Derochaise Blue Angel at Marondera. Another good one, lovely head on good neck, good front and feet, so well made with a super coat, good to go over, on the move she is good behind but a touch narrow coming towards. 3. Moore’s Derochaise Black Cherry Cloudside. OB (3) 1. Howlett/Phillips’ Ch. Tendrow Makes The Right Turn JW. Lovely bitch in fantastic coat and condition, loved her head and eye and full furnishings, super front and thick padded feet, so well ribbed and strong in top-line, hammy quarters and moved so well using every inch of herself going round, pulled out all the stops to win BCC & BOB over the super dog. 2. McCalmont/Hanney’s Ch. Silvae Time After Time at Bronia. This one from a slightly bigger mould, very honest bitch, no flash or glamour, just a good Wire, liked her head and again good to go over, lovely coat, sound mover. 3. Clayton-Smith’s Cairparavel Kiss From A Rose JW. VB (2) 1. Maes-Jones/Bates’ Ch. Derochaise Elusia JW. 8½ years and so good for size and type, liked her head very much and so pleasing to go over, fabulous coat and condition, still so very sound on the move but could put that bit more into her showing. 2. Rowe’s Ch. Boloria’s Trick or Treat JW VW. Another good Wire, this one 7½ years, loved her size, head and expression, good top-line, good body and coat and a good mover, both these bitches are a credit to their owners.
