Could be a shade stronger in pastern. Moved out well both ways. MPD (5,1) 1 HOPE, Mrs Sarah Tendrow Makes His Mark. Composed and alert with a good topline and corresponding underline. Despite his youth, has some strength over the loins. Grand head. Nicely balanced with decent ground clearance. 2 SEATH, Mrs S Sunsong Hope For The Best. A well-made promising youngster of pleasing type. Well balanced with a prominent breastbone and strong topline. Moved soundly but not quite the composure of the winner on the move. 3 RODWELL, Mrs Penelope Fiona Tendrow Don't Turn Around PD (2,1) 1 HEPNER THEODOROU, Miss Amelia & HEPNER-CHAPMAN, Mr Clipperdown Red Baron. Ultra smart with good carriage and bold deportment. Strong bone, excellent feet. Strong slightly arched neck. Good length of sternum and he is ribbed well back. Decent ground clearance. Impressed on the move with some drive evident. Best Puppy. YD (3) 1 RODWELL, Mrs Penelope Fiona Blue Bayou (bc2). Presented in a good textured jacket. Good head proportions with strong jaw. Really good outline with sufficient ground clearance, good sternum and nicely rounded and well-muscled hindquarters. 2 PALMER, Miss Lauren Drakkina Dragons Eye. Very pleasing head and expression with lovely dark eyes. Not quite the jacket of the winner. Pleasing forehand with pronounced breastbone and clean neck and shoulders. Good topline and undercarriage. 3 WILLS, Mrs Kay Kasalane Pietersite ND (1) 1 JONES, Miss Robyn Leigh Koenhond Slice Of Trifle. Well balanced with a masculine head and pleasing expression. Good keel and length of sternum. Nicely balanced with good ground clearance. Harsh double coat. Just a little apprehensive on the table, once he relaxes, he should do well. Strong topline with some strength over the loins. Good hind angulation. Very positive, driving hind action. 2 BEAGRIE, Mrs A & BEAGRIE, Mr A Feldhund Moonlight JW. Close up, masculine and workmanlike with proud, defiant carriage. Good forehand with pleasing bone and decent feet. Good topline and underline. Shown in lovely hard muscular condition, good length of head with strong jaw and large, white teeth. Very good neck and shoulders. Prominent breastbone and good length of sternum. I admired his balance, good ground clearance and proud deportment. Well-boned with decent feet. Good length of rib and strong topline. Strong, well-muscled hindquarters enabled him to move with some drive. Quite workmanlike with good ground clearance and this just tipped the scales in her favour in the challenge for Best Veteran. Good head proportions with a keen expression and strong jaw. Firm topline. Nicely angulated hindquarters. Moved soundly. 2 HOWE, Miss Emily Georgina Bramalodge Billie Jean. Very typical and shown in a harsh double coat. Good neck and shoulders. Carrying a fraction more weight than the winner but retains a firm topline and she too moved out well. MPB (6) A good class right down the line. 1 SEATH, Mrs S Sunsong Forever Hopeful. Strong, muscular neck which she uses to advantage. Excellent forehand. Strong well ribbed body with good length of sternum and pleasing topline. Moved out well with some drive from behind. 2 HEPNER THEODOROU, Miss Amelia & HEPNER-CHAPMAN, Mr Clipperdown Good Grief. Another lovely youngster. Good body with some ground clearance. Nicely angulated both fore and aft. Strong topline and good underline. A super youngster, feminine yet workmanlike and very well-schooled to show of all her assets. Steady and accurate on the move. Excellent forehand with lovely feet. Not quite the drive as yet of the winner but she presents a most attractive, overall picture. Good head, clean neck and shoulders; strong, well-ribbed body. Soundly made all through and presets a pleasing overall picture. Good forehand, ribs extend well back and good length of sternum. I was told afterwards that she was my Best Puppy last time I judged the breed and on that day she took Puppy Group #2.
